How Nicol Merline found hypnosis, and why it became her life's work.

Dear Reader,
To truly convey what hell was like for me, I need to take you back to my childhood. From a young age, rolling up my sleeves would reveal raw, red, burning rashes covering my arms and hands. The rash didn't stop there—it spread across my legs and torso, covering at least a third of my body.
It felt like being trapped in a torturous, itchy, burning coat that could never be removed. A fireman told me it looked like first and second-degree burns. Clothing stuck to my skin, making even the simplest task a painful ordeal. Doctors, lotions, steroids, and herbal remedies offered no relief. Every dermatologist said the same thing: I had the worst case of eczema they'd ever seen.
It wasn't just the physical pain—it was the emotional isolation. Kids feared catching my condition, the rash spread to my face, and I couldn't hide it during hot summer months. Public appearances became unbearable. Maybe it was simply baked into my genes. I felt utterly alone, battling a condition that seemed unbeatable.
Then came a suggestion to try hypnosis. Despite being desperate for help, I was deeply skeptical. I demanded evidence that hypnosis worked and asked for a refund if it didn't.
"After my first session, something extraordinary happened—within two days, my ravaged skin began to heal. I felt like I had molted."
Those tears of despair turned to tears of joy. My skepticism melted away, replaced by a burning desire to learn everything about hypnosis. I had finally found a way to heal myself, and I was determined to help others do the same.
I eventually left my career as a high school science teacher to embark on a new journey. In 2000, I founded a private hypnosis practice. The most fulfilling part of my work has been seeing how quickly clients, many of whom have suffered for years, find relief from their mental, emotional, and physical ailments.
Scientific evidence supports what I experienced firsthand: our mental state directly impacts our physical health. My skin was a reflection of my inner turmoil. When I changed my mind, I healed my body.
Many people come to my hypnosis practice searching for answers, just as I once did. Some are skeptics, much like I was. Others may be ready to overcome whatever is holding them back. Regardless of how they arrive, my story serves as reassurance that they are in the right place.
Years of suffering taught me invaluable lessons—not only in self-healing but also in helping others. My journey through that personal hell has given me the empathy and understanding necessary to guide others through their own struggles.
Since that life-changing moment, I've been on a mission to help people achieve lasting relief and positive change. I'm 79, and I'm not ready to hang up my hat. With Hypnofy, we're combining my decades of experience with modern technology, allowing us to reach more people than ever before.
We've worked hard to build a product that delivers the same results people experience one-on-one with me. So whether you're here to quit a bad habit or improve performance, may you get the change you seek through the power of hypnosis.
